What a great time at Texworld USA! Pvilion had the opportunity to join the great minds at Vorbeck Materials in discussing the future of technology in textiles. Thanks to everyone that was able to attend the 19h edition of Texworld USA and to E.G. Preston on this great coverage of the event!

Texworld USA: A Must See For Anyone Who Wears Fabric
New York City in July has been on my calendar for a year and I am so pleased to have stepped into the 19th edition of Texworld USA a couple weeks ago. Texworld USA sets itself apart among trade shows by placing high values on quality, sustainability, and the regeneration of textiles Made in the USA.
Wiring Textiles…Can you imagine staying warm while camping in the middle of winter, because your tent is a solar conductor or one day remotely starting your car from your sleeve? Texworld USA highlighted the fusion and future between electrical engineering, textiles, and fashion in its Wiring Textiles seminar. Texworld USA invited attendees to learn from creative geniuses Colin Touhey, CEO, Pvilion, and Louise Brooks, Founder & Manager, Wearable Electronics Systems Department, Vorbeck Materials about the budding union among electronics and textiles and the transcendence in our fashion world. If your Tommy Hilfiger jacket or your Brooks Brothers dress shirt ever earns an “energy star”, if your apparel ever becomes truly sustainable, no doubt that Pvilion and Vorbeck Materials will have made this possible!
