The D*Haus is engineered to dynamically respond to seasonal, meteorlogical, and astronomical patterns, rearranging itself to best suit seasons and climates.
In extreme cold, the house is a perfect square, folded to insulate itself and post only small windows to the outside. While in the extreme heat, the house is fully extended, allowing light and air to filter through to the inside. As the building transitions, windows become doors and vice versa.
D*Dynamic, the architecture firm that uses applied mathematics to design D*Haus, offers three prefabricated versions: D*Static Sustainable (for low-income housing), D*Lux (for luxury), and D*Modular (for flexibility in size).
