Google's parent company, Alphabet, filed documents to the Federal Communications Commission that suggest that Google is developing plugless chargers for its cars!
Google's chargers are still in prototype form. Two companies, HEVO, and Momentum Dynamics are working with Google. While the companies are developing separate chargers for Google, both use resonant magnetic induction technology.
HEVO announced once their chargers are tested in alpha prototype form, the company will work towards commercializing the product.
