We are excited to share that based on customer demand, in 2026 we’ll be raising capital to accelerate the expansion of Pvilion. This latest development will allow us to continue our New York-based manufacturing for new and existing customers, while simultaneously upgrading our local manufacturing capabilities and global reach. Keep reading to learn about the latest investor events in New York that we’ve been involved in.
Japan Innovation Forum
Last month, we had the privilege of visiting the Japan Society’s Manhattan headquarters in attendance of the 2026 Japan Innovation Forum. The event featured an insightful lineup of panelists that focused on Japan’s dynamic approach to shaping a sustainable future in partnership with the US through tech driven investment.
The conversation revolved around how to advance sustainable cities that are powered by dynamic tech innovation. It also served as an amazing opportunity to meet with visionary leaders, pioneering startups, investors, and policymakers from both Japan and the U.S.
Not only did we have the privilege of listening in on the engaging discussions, but we were also invited to present in the U.S. Startup Pitch Showcase. Pvilion CEO Colin Touhey led a presentation of Pvilion’s deck alongside other select companies.
All in all, it was a fantastic event hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Consulate General of Japan in New York alongside event partners NYCEDC, JETRO New York, City of Yokohama, and the City of Kobe!
Greennex Global
Pvilion CEO, Colin Touhey, recently presented to a panel of investors at the Greennex Pulse Roadshow. The event focused on battery manufacturing, grid risk intelligence, deployable solar, and waste heat recovery. The host, Greennex Global, is a cross-border investment and innovation advisory platform with a mission to bridge global climate capital and innovation through strategic intelligence, cross-border partnerships, and institutional-grade advisory services.
Newlab’s National Security Summit
We attended Newlab’s New York National Security Summit, which connected founders, investors, policymakers, and public-sector partners from across New York. It was an engaging evening full of conversations exploring how New York can lead the nation in dual-use commercialization and public–private innovation.Dual-Use, Double PourWe even hosted an event to connect industry investors with industry experts alongside Acequia Capita at our Industry City headquarters. The discussions at Dual-Use, Double Pour: Connecting Defense, Infrastructure, and the Future of Energy focused on the future of dual-use technology at the intersection of so many industries and investment opportunities.
Scale for ClimateTech
We participated in the 2025 Scale for ClimateTech program with 17 other NY-based companies. The program was led by an elite network of advisors that provided industry-specific guidance and pitch support. These conversations led to connections with industry investors, corporate partners, and customers. Innovation ShowcaseAt the end of the program, Pvilion attended the Innovation Showcase, where Pvilion CEO, Colin Touhey, presented about Pvilion to the event’s attendees. All in all, this investor-focused event was teeming with thoughtful discussions across many different industries.
