The City of Pflugerville, TX commissioned Pvilion for it’s first ever solar powered electric vehicle charging station. Powering two cars and acting as a beacon for the design-oriented city, the Solar Sail Carport is just off the tollway, and can be seen from a mile away.
Its curves, beauty, and LED lighting help identify Pvilion’s customers as both stylish and sustainable. Here, thin film photovoltaics are laminated onto stainless steel sheets, then tensioned and twisted using Pvilion’s patented solar tensile structure technology.
